REAL ATTACK (リアル・アタック) forms in Tokyo (東京)東京.
Some sources state that the band formed in 1985 and disbanded in 1988, but ROCK FILE VOL.8 states that they formed in 1987 and lists them as still being active as of 1990. (The disbandment date is somewhat in question; see later note.)
The same magazine states that the vocalist's name was WARLER, and it's assumed that this is the same person as VELVET ENDROIT vocalist Masayuki Ohishi, but this is unconfirmed.

ROCK FILE VOL.8 was released in March 1990, and it lists REAL ATTACK as still being active (with bassist ATSUSHI) at that time. However, February 1991 magazine LES ENFANTS TERRIBLES states that VELVET ENDROIT formed in September 1989 when bassist ATSUSHI joined the other members of REAL ATTACK.
In other words, it seems that ATSUSHI joined REAL ATTACK and that the band was planning to continue under that name, but sometime between March 1990 and February 1991 decided to continue as VELVET ENDROIT instead. If that's the case, it seems like they then retroactively changed the REAL ATTACK disbandment date to around September 1989.
Either way, VELVET ENDROIT held their first live in March 1990, so REAL ATTACK was definitely disbanded by that time.
At some point, the original unknown bassist secedes. Possibly around September 1989, bassist ATSUSHI joins.
REAL ATTACK retroactively(?) disbands
REAL ATTACK was a visual kei band in Tokyo. They were active from 1987 to 1989 and are now disbanded.
