Metempsychosis (メテムサイコシス) forms.
At this time, the members' official positions are: Guide (案内役); Guard of the Left Gate (右ノ扉ノ門番); Guard of the Right Gate (左ノ扉ノ門番); Darkening Angel (悪ナル天使); and Lightening Demon (善ナル悪魔), respectively.

Live is held. A CD is freely distributed to attendees.
Metempsychosis changes its name to METEM (メテム).
By early 2003, guitarists SANA (鎖娜) and RINNE (燐廻) are gone, with Masaru (潤) and Kenichirou (けんいちろう) in their place. (It's unclear if these were actual member changes or just name changes.)
Guitarist AGI (阿戯) and bassist KINO (餽乃) change the notation of their names.
At the same time, the band lightens its visuals, mixing street clothes and visual makeup.

Around this time, bassist Kino (きの) secedes, and guitarist AGI (アギ) switches to bass.
At the same time, guitarist Kenichirou (けんいちろう) changes the notation of his name to Kenichirou (健一郎).

The band completely drops their visuals at the same time as their name change.
Vocalist REiTO (レイト) changes his name to HIRATSUKA TAKANOBU (ヒラツカタカノブ); guitarist TAKEON (タケオン) to TAKEO (タケオ); bassist AGI (阿戯) to Yuusuke (祐輔); and MC TETSUON (テツオン) to Tetsuon (哲音).

MTM disbands
MTM was a visual kei band. They were part of the loud kei subgenre. They were active from 2001 to 2004 and are now disbanded.
