GPKISM was a visual kei band. They were part of the kote kei, pikopiko kei, and tanbi kei subgenres. They were active from 2007 to 2011 and are now disbanded.
i just discovered this band recently on spotify, i was dissapointed the fact that theyve been disbanded long time ago TT i loved their songs somuch, esp immaculatus, is there any vkei bands that r similar to gpkism?
GPKISM were very unique! It's hard to find anything with the same sound or aesthetic, but some acts I would recommend are BLOOD, BLAM HONEY, Schwarz Stein & VELVET EDEN. In regards to BLOOD, I remember reading that their songs Bathory & Elizabeth were originally written to be GPKISM songs, so check those singles out as well as the albums Lost Sky & The Reaper Behind Me which have a more industrial sound.
