CELL forms in Tokyo (東京)東京 and is teased as an ex- La'Mule + NightingeiL band, and announces that they will hold various one-mans at the end of the year + release an album in December.
This album ended up never getting released. Once their drummer left the band, the album was then rebranded as a maxi-single + DVD. The name it was supposed to have, Saigo...Tsubushita Kotoba (最後・・・潰した言葉), ended up being the name of a oneman show and later a live DVD of the same performance.
V. Kon (紺)
The band was revealed to be Chi to Houtai (血と包帯), and that their first performance would be at the A presents live Amaoto no Utage (雨音の宴) On June 30th.
Although the band officially changed names, they did perform under the name "Chi to Houtai" several times as a sort of alter-ego that focused on covering La'Mule and NightingeiL songs. However, many regular CELL lives also performed the same covers, so the differentiation appears superfluous.
Within a month, vocalist Kon announced that he's changing the name of the band to CELL.
Guitarists SIN and NAO are announced as members, both being ex-La'Mule, as well as bassist YUKI (who was speculated to be ex- NightingeiL, but this ended up being untrue)

CELL was due to perform in China, but due to tensions between both countries, the two-day event was cancelled.

Cell doesn't seem like a band from the 2010's, I can't explain it.
I'm probably really biased to 90s vkei but most modern vkei bands seem less appealing than the visuals and music from earlier, except for certain bands like Cell maybe. D is cool too.
A lot of bands around that time (and still today) with veterans from the 90s are able to retain that feel. I think that was also the case with a lot of UNDER CODE PRODUCTION bands. But it still happens today!
